I find it comical they have a policy on resale when 95% of the time their prices aren’t on this planet with us. They are basically admitting that sometimes they don’t do their research properly, as that’s the only situation resale would come into play. Alas, the situation we have here.

I have a friend who bought a 20 gauge Perazzi SCO from the Sydney store for $1000 while on a pheasant hunting trip. When he got home they called him and wanted it back because they made a mistake. He politely told them that yes they make a mistake, but he was keeping the gun. He still has it.

Two examples I remember best in dealer "faux pas" (plural) are the selling of a Fox Sterlingworth "on steroids" as described by the store clerk which turned out to be a 32" 20 ga. HE SuperFox (one of 60 or so made) and a "gussied up" 12 ga. Fox 'upgrade' which turned out to be an original Burt Becker 32" Fox HE 3" magnum. (What's Latin for "seller beware"?)
