I have owned more than one that lettered but was missing an eighth of an inch or so but as yours , it still shows a part of the horizontal line at the end of the barrels ,barrel keels still in place and the barrels touching like yours are ! Who knows ,maybe a boogered up muzzle maybe just a little short from the factory !
