My 1877 vintage Lifter, with 'Plain Twist' barrels, handles Polywad Vintagers without any issues. The bores were pitted badly, and are now .755" (11 bore!). The ribs required some straightening and resoldering, while a large ringed bulge was removed near the right muzzle. All in all, they were a soup sandwich, but were given a new lease on life by Brad Bachelder. Brad also applied a cool brown finish to restore the patterns. They are also, probably, genuine Parker-made Twist. Cheers!
