A 32" 10ga has probably knocked down more than a few ducks.
What frame size is it built on? How are the bores? Both hammer screws appear to have been replaced, but they have a nice patina, so I'd leave them alone. |

I will have to look again at the frame size, I did not take a pic that captured that. The bores were shiny with little or no pitting seen.

Hi Dean, I got a chance to take it apart and start cleaning it up. Internally it looks very good as far as the color case hardening. The chambers and bores ere excellent. It appears to have hung on the mantle for many years without use. Attached are some more pics and a pic of the LH hammer assy broken small part (stirrup?), next to the RH hammer. Can you tell me the broken part name and if it is part of an assembly, and/or what to get to repair the assembly?
Thanks, |

Thanks J.A. I am excited to bring this old Double Hammer back to full form and use it.
Ralph Hi Brian, I received the stirrup today. I will be installing it shortly. Thanks so much for your help and the part. Ralph |
