The Cowans/Hindman auction just ended a few days ago and I completely missed it. This gun sold and to me epitomizes everything a small elegant double rifle should be. The price it brought (half the estimate) includes the premium.

Also, if this isn't close to a near perfect pair of practical English small bores, I don't know what would fill the bill. These guns also did not make the estimate.
