Gary Herman and I were discussing these long barreled guns this morning. His remark sent shivers down my spine, but he's right; " If those guns came in the store 40 years ago, they wouldn't sell until we chopped them off to 26" or 28".
It gives me nightmares to think of all the long barreled guns my dad would ignore if they weren't 'upland' guns. It goes to show how these trends go in perfect sine waves of popularity.

edit: I must have had buns on my mind
