Default Fitting extractor forend to ejector gun

Gentlemen,

I have a 12ga DHE with an original beavertail forearm.

I bought a splinter forearm that fits the gun when it’s not cocked.

I can see that there are two “pins” that protrude from the knuckle area of the gun when cocked. I assume that the forearm would need to be relieved to give clearance for them.

What else must be modified to make the extractor forearm work with the ejector gun?

Best,
Brett

That is all. Just the clearance for the ejector trips.

Brian, just a hole simply drilled in the face of the forend?
