Are "fences" what I've been referring to as "side clips?" Damn that's nice.
Andy, they are not the same. The hemispherical part if the receiver is sometimes referred to as fences. The side clips are the irregular part of the fence which intrudes upon the circumference of the barrel breech. This gun’s fences also have side clips.
