Those are Wincheter large pistol primers, which should be fine with 2F. I did order some felt wad material as that is better than the fiber wads(though I use both).

I will be well on the road Sunday as well. I think I have shot that event in the past when it was on a Thursday. Can't wait to be a part of this!

Congratulations Jay,
I look forward to comparing to 7 frame Hammer Guns, I assume yours is a top lever??

Looking forward to watching you shoot those black powder loads, I just haven't warmed up to the idea of shooting blackpowder yet, although I do now have the cases.

Is your lifter a five or six frame ?

My lifter is a 7 frame.

I could spot you some light 1 1/2 oz loads for the Friday morning event if you would like to save your BP loads for the black powder specific event.

Stan it will be nice to finally meet you. The 8 gauge I am buying is a top lever. I could see adding a lifter at some point
