I did the same thing, 9” titanium plate and screws. Broke the leg in three places and dislocated the ankle.

Some of us didn't need a fast car to wreck a leg!! Playing ball for 23 years and working construction for 27 is dedication enough!!

I usually tell people that I got mine pushing a crippled old lady out of the way of a speeding car, before admitting that I got it stepping off my front porch onto black ice .
