I would think some type of conical rotary tool in a drill press would do this to brass no problem. maybe even a light touch with a roll crimp tool.

I’m thinking I’ll get 5 or 6 hulls and try my roll crimper with a buckshot load and possibly the punkin ball load . If it works with that then on to the slug load which will stick up a bit more than the punkin ball .
