Bobby, does it have the reinforced forend lug like this?

Yes it does. I am familiar with that forend loop, as I mentioned in a previous post. I will send pictures as soon as I can tonight.

Oh, and I did shoot it yesterday and it was a pleasure to shoot. It's a grinder for sure.............I am hoping it is my new doubles gun.

Now you're talking. So we know it originally had a BTF.

Doubles gun, now you've really got my attention. Please give the specifics on this Parker. And looking forward to more pics.

So why are we questioning the originality of the forend? The checkering? Or the shape?

The checkering is questionable but I’m not really seeing a problem with the shape of the forend. Definitely different from my CHE but looks about the same as my GHE. Unfortunately she’s currently away from home, so I really can’t compare.

I’m certainly not an expert but I would need more pictures of your forend from several different angles before I could even begin to pass judgement.
