Things are moving well actually. Brian Dudley is gonna handle this project. What we decided to do:

Relay a new rib as the current rib was bead blasted and lost its luster, Brian ironically had the perfect replacement with length and script although it needed quite a bit of fitting. Of course the barrels will be refinished.

Replace the stock, the replacement blank was selected from something Brian had access to, I have asked to save the original F/A which Brian thinks will be fine.

Brian has found a suitable pattern that will fit my upland needs in dimensions. The original stock, in poor shape, will stay as it is.

Brian is going to retime screws and replace as necessary as needed.

Hopefully some time in 2024 the gun will be ready to roll. This will be my “shooter” AAHE for hunting ;-)
