I got my catalog yesterday, thanks to Josh! I talked with the nice people at G&D and am all set for the auction. Nice folks there and a wonderful collection of guns. I've never seen so many single triggers and beavertails at one auction before.

Or screw in chokes. Watch it. Craig is right. Although G&D sell the odd gun in their decoy auctions, this is the first "gun auction" they have held.

Although Josh has been known to use a grandiose word or two to sell a gun, I think Josh would be killing his reputation if the guns at G&D are not spot on descriptions. After all the promotion from him, I can't see how it would benefit his business. This is as much Josh's auction as it is G&Ds.

Now if one of us comes away with screw in chokes not described, I can't wait to hear about it.

This is their second gun auction. They were at the southern last year promoting their first.

I think you’re incorrect I know of no other Guyette and Deeter firearms auction . They did have a few pre 1898 things at the decoy auction in Easton in 2021 . The other auction that had Charlie Hunters stuff was in Mount Crawford VA in 2021 but that was with a different auction company . At the Southern in 2022 they were promoting the auction coming up February 4th of this year .

I do believe you are correct. I see that they are describing this as their “inaugural” gun auction.
