I also remembered that a lot of the Nashville shooters at one time made the short trip north to Gamiliel Ky to shop at the Gameliel Gun Shop. It is just east of Glasgow on I-65. Nothing fancy at all but in a small farm crossroads that had a barbecue pit that cooked all week and sold for one day a week. Concrete block building that had customers lined up outside to the corner all day. The gun store was a real mover and shaker in the trapshooting community and drew a lot of business from Nashville. I haven't been there for years but bought a lot of high end used shotguns there over several years. |
