I am "guessing" that Sharps was long out of business, when Parker was using the term"Old Reliable" in their Marketing/Promotional materials. Sharps did put out a sxs in 1878 and engraved "Old Reliable" on the rib(that would be a nice one to have). I will post a picture from the Sharps book by Frank Sellers when I have a chance.
