I'm pretty familiar and competent with Fox ejectors and almost two years ago I bought a straight grip Parker with known non-functioning ejectors, thinking I’d learn and fix them myself. And learn I did. In spades! It took some time to really understand the Parker mechanism that's far more complex than the Fox Russel Patent ejectors; and after finding some parts and making others, then fitting them, I got the ejectors fully functional ..... now to the tune of some 1600 shots and still counting. Timing of the kicks are still as I set them. Done deal.

OK, with all that said I've discussed Parker ejector repairs with Lou while at SxS events and with my knowledge base I confirmed he knows the mechanism intricacies and wasn’t “blowing smoke”. Also while at Hausmann's earlier this year Lou showed me a box of ejector hammers he'd machined along with other parts and ready for fitting.

Again, I learned and did those repairs myself and never had Lou do any work on Parker ejectors but if I could roll the calendar back two years I would have sent that straight grip Parker to him. All this just my take on the posts here.

Frank took the words out of my mouth. Lou recently repaired a Lefever cocking problem for me and I couldn't recommend him more highly.
