True, but in the catalog where the introduction of the Trojan Skeet gun they pictured the Trojan with a straight grip, single trigger and abeavertail.

Asked about info on it and you looked it up. It’s from one of the missing books. 209285.
It even has a gold medallion under the stock with “FP” engraved on it. That means “First Place”.

What catalog was that? Is it pictured in The Parker Story? Anywhere else?

I don't believe it was in a catalog. There is one picture on a parts price list, maybe other places also. It was a trick to drive later day collectors crazy. I have pictures with the gun in my hands, but never got to shoot it.

We have seen other features in the PB catalogs that were referred to as "only available as" or some similar language only to have documented specimens that had those features contradicting the catalog. The most recent that I recall was a discussion recently not to long ago concerning BTFE's where the 1930 PB catalog stated "only available in 12 gauge" in yet we have a documented 20 gauge contradicting that. Never say never eh....
