English Walnut on a Parker

Cecil had and still has some nice wood. It certainly is over the too for a VHE, but its sorta what floats your boat. I would say save the original stock and restock the gun to fit you. Nothing worse then a lovely blank sitting in a closet nit being used. Short answer is write the check and go for it. PS. What does the other side of the blank look like?

I have to agree with Brian that I wouldn't use that forearm blank and that the wood is over the top for a VHE. Watt's Walnut has some very nice black walnut blanks that would be more appropriate for your project. I bought a very nice blank from him for a rifle project for $300.
