Garry - A blazer and tie is very appropriate. Some dress a little more informally while some dress up a bit more - your call.

It looks like we will finally meet as I am planning to attend.

My tails haven't made it back from the cleaners in over twenty years so navy blazer khacki's and an oxford with tie will have to do
