Weight being the primary consideration the polywad weighs next to nothing, the BPI x spreader is very light and i do not believe they will make any meaningful difference in pressure in a load meant to be used at close range. If concerned check their weight and remove a few shot pellets to negate it.

Garry, where did you find out that Polywad spreaders increase pressure? How much?

It was in the paperwork that came with the spreader-Rs as I recall.
