Bores and the leade into each choke are not altered in any way. New chokes are honed to polish and faux colored to look old. Actually this new tapered reaming will correct "off shooting" due to chokes that were originally bored slightly cockeyed. Yeah that happened and more than you might think. Will also correct and put a taper in chokes that had been opened-up parallel with a common adjustable reamer.
