My first setter was in 1948, when I was two years old. She was an Irish out of Milson O'Boy as I recall. I still have her papers, but not handy. My dad raised one litter and we kept one male from the litter. He was the first dog I hunted over, until I was in college.

He was a Decoverly. Ken Alexander picked him out for us. Ken picked a good one! His Dam was L’il Lil and sire was Sterling.
