Stan they were a good bit larger than bobwhite and delicious! Bobby

But I have never seen a Ruffed Grouse looking as gargantuan as the one that is pictured alongside Jim's VH. Is it an optical illusion, lens/light, or depth of field distortion? If not, what a bird to feast on!

It was a regular size bird,just the photo
