There was a good article on the 32-gauge in the September 1933, The American Rifleman by James Vance, M.D. He had a lovely new straight-grip, 30-inch barrel, Lancaster 32-gauge. Unfortunately for the 32-gauge and its half ounce of shot, back in the June 1933 issue F.C. Ness reviewed the new Winchester pump for the new 3-inch .410-bore shell with 3/4 ounce of shot.
