I bought a wonderful Parker from Charlie back when the VGC was still in Sandanona. He cautioned me that it was damascus and actually gave me some RST ammo to test it with. Went to the 5 stand and inkballed some targets then went back and worked out a trade with a GHE I wanted to get rid of. I'll be shooting it next week at the Rock.
At one of my first trips to the Southern I needed a shooting vest. Not just any vest but a left hand vest. If you are left handed you know how difficult that can be. Charlie said wait a minute I thing I have one in a box here under the table. He fished it out, it fit me, and I still wear it to this day. He shared a table with a gentlemen named Boyd who always had his Lab laying next to the table. Not sure what happened to him but I haven't seen him in a while either. "There but for the grace of God, go I". RIP Charlie.

I can't remember if it was Charlie or Boyd who had an outrageous XE Fox that neither one of them would sell to any one of a dozen guys who "had to have it".
