I have also seen this shot where shooters in the second or bonus rounds can call any combination of traps but you still must break the first trap/bird called for anything to count. Not sure if this is a legit format or just a trappers idea of adding a little fun to the game.

That's pretty much how we play it here. You must break the #1 bird for anything to count. In the bonus round any trap combination can be called.
