Default damascus 16

Hello Gents,
I have been looking for a D grade damascus barreled 16 ga in nice original condition that is also shootable. I have seen them from $3,200 to $4,400. Is that about the going rate or do I need to keep looking? I know that each gun has to stand on it's own merrits and value is based on condition. I would like to know what the general opinion is on the value of the damascus barreled guns in this grade.

Thnak you,

Fritz Dornan

Three weeks ago I missed a very nice 1-frame DH damascus 16 that sold for $7500.

Damascus D grade 16s are very hot and very scarce. It's been years since the 3 to 4 price would buy a good one. They are so hard to find that I don't even want one any more!
