It was one of those ideas that sounds good on paper but is flawed in practice .
Even when the extractors would remove the adapter you still had to use a rod to remove the cases from the adapters. I think when it comes to gauge adapters its best to KISS ( Keep it simple stupid) as my AG shop teacher used to say
. Honestly though for me vintage double gun collecting is such a expensive hobby worrying about shell cost is a non starter for me .
