Wow .048” is about as XF as I have ever heard of in a Parker.

You have now posted a couple of revealing pics of that stop plate. The tiny plate mortised into the rear of the doll’s head rib extension and secured with the tiny screw stops the rearward travel of the ejectors. Turn it over to see the slots that the ejectors travel in.
