Taking the locks off is not difficult Harold. Nor is a general clean/lube. But triggers.....just leave that to a qualified, and I mean qualified, smith who knows what they are doing.

Harold,
I had the exact opposite problem with a hammer Parker that I purchased two years ago. That gun would double frequently due to extremely light trigger pulls. I took the gun to Griffin & Howe, ( they are only a 20 minute drive from me), and one week later had the gun back with trigger pulls in the 3 1/2 to 4 pound range.
