The order book and the stock book dont always agree.
I have a DHE 28 gauge where one book (and the Serialization book as well) says it was made with 28 Titanic Steel barrels and the other book shows it having been made with 24 Damascus barrels.
Today the gun sports 24 Damascus barrels.

It would seem only the order book was available for my gun. I think with all the evidence present i would feel comfortable telling myself however the barrels got there was via the Parker factory and it was done around the time of original manufacture. I understand that this is speculation to some level, but it's reasonably well backed up. At least to me.
