The gun has a solid 5" of drop. Not for me. It could be sleeved for a double rifle, 375 H&H or something interesting. However regulating the barrels would be a big task.
However, the Ithaca Model 37R Deluxe Featherweight in 20 gauge came home with me. I agreed to $350. Manufactured in 1960. Honest wear, but I like it. I may put an Ithaca "Sunburst Pad" on it. Photos of the wood:
