I'd send pictures to the "Stock Doctor" Dennis Earl Smith. If the stock is original, he can do magic and possibly make it look brand new. It's worth a shot.

After looking closely, I don't see a medallion on the stock so it's not original. Best to have a buttstock made. I looked for years for a buttstock before I found one that could be made to fit. The forend can be fixed so the holes can't be seen.
