I have a Model 70 I am planning to ship out to put on consignment. I was waiting for the holiday craziness to subside and now I am wondering if I should have just insured it and then collected the insurance money

Eight days ago I sent a Priority Mail envelope to Savanah GA from central VA . Shoulda been there in 3 or 4 days . I looked at the tracking number today and to my astonishment it said delivered TODAY . Granted Xmas Covid19 yadda yadda yadda but those excuses are way past getting old .
