I live in east texas about 60 miles south west of shreveport La., small town called huxley.
I got the gun in two pieces. I have started with the penatrating oil and a rag to try and wipe off some of the rust and stop any more damage. I have talked to a couple of gunsmiths in the area and they said that is what i should start doing. the top lever is rusted and doesn't move along with the safety switch and triggers.
