In my study of these late Remington Parkers, the highest serial number I've recorded is a VHE about 120 higher than the OPs gun and the folks at Ilion put a pretty nice piece of wood on it --

Dave that is some beautiful wood on that one and on the OP's gun as well. If you are compiling info on Ilion Parkers you may be interested to know that the GHE 16 on the home page is #241458. Interestingly to me it came with the A&F case. If there is any additional info you may be interested in just shoot me a PM.
