Serial number 240067 was manufactured in 1936, it didn't leave Meriden, it left Ilion, NY. Remington's first production serial number for a Parker was on June 29, 1934, number 236531.
Attributes for #240067:
"D" Grade
Hammerless
Ejector
Capped Pistol Grip
20 Gauge
28" barrel
I am not an official Parker Bros. historian, actually just an enthusiast who bought the book. YMMV

Many thanks to all replies so quickly. I thoroughly enjoy being a member with the Parker Gun Collectors Assoc. Not only is the " Old Reliable" a great American SxS, it is the best with very high quality! Again, thank you Kevin, James and Bruce

Minor correction - the Parker Gun Works moved to Ilion in 1937.
