I do take it easy in mine, but have enjoyed shooting an early Parker with decarbonized steel barrels. I have shot light smokeless reloads and RST ultralights that were 3/4 oz. And I have shot a square loads of black powder 2 1/2 ff and 1oz.

This is Parker#171 shooting clays pretty well with black powder shells(posted previously in a different thread): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKlsXZeBemQ

Don't let the perceived lower quality of decarbonized barrels stop you from getting a great Parker
