Yes Reggie, it's a 12 gauge.

There was another one there, a 12 gauge GHE with 26" barrels and a vent rib. But it had had the Del Greco treatment and I passed on it.

I too have a VHE 12g live bird gun from about the same time frame as yours. SST, right full, left IC, no safety, BTFE, straight grip, 32" bbls. Parker letter and info from G&H (A&F) regarding previous owners. GREAT GUN!!!!
