Yeah the pics aren’t great, just trying to help spread some knowledge, as this a is a great site! I noticed in the pics the forend and stock don’t seem to match, I wondered if it was replaced.

Randy, are there any Remington codes on the left barrel flat?

There are no Rem. codes. Just the usual markings one would expect.

That is a thick wrist. Hard to believe the stock, or at least the stock finish is original on a gun with a receiver that weathered. Oops, I see those last pics are from a different gun. My comment holds for the first gun though; the butt looks too nice for the gun and, as stated above, it doesn't seem to match the forend.

Does that look like cysnide colors on the top tang area or just poor pic and Rich is right as to the fore end wood not matching butt
