How would a good shooter with a sxs sporting a single trigger and ejectors have fared on those trimos?

No way Dean, three traps fire at the same instant and three birds in the air at the same time. Might be possible if one or two of the birds just “sucked air” to use that sporting clays term, but not a trio of clays as per Evil Mike’s sobriquet .....
