What Parker or ???gun do you plan to use for Spring Turkey???

Do any of you short 10 ga guys Turkey hunt with the RST loads ?
Im debating 1 1/8 oz vs the 1 1/4 oz loads and #4 vs #5 shot .
My 10 ga 3.5" guns never cared for #4 2 1/4oz loads on the patterning board .
I am thinking perhaps a lighter load of #4s would pattern better ?
I dont think a turkey will tell much difference between a #4 and #5 pellet but I dont have the experience to back that up .

RST 1/8th 5’s work fine for me...i’m patient.... my bow hunting training makes me wait for a 20-25shot at max, no matter what ii’m shooting.

IMO if you're going for a lighter load you should also go with a smaller shot size in order to maintain pattern density. I would go to #6 rather than #4 in replacing the #5 you have been using. The effective target size of a turkey's head and neck are really quite small and a denser pattern will be more effective. The bones you need to break are not big and heavy, but a sparse pattern has more of a chance to miss those small but critical places.
