Beautiful!! That is a nicer piece of walnut than ever left Fall Creek Water Power Lot #6 on a Sousa Special or Dollar Grade.

Bill grill,
That is a very nice wood, I believe most of the stocks from the Fall Creek factory were American walnut.
I would be very interested to know who you will use for the metal work, I have a Field grade NID SST BTFE straight grip 410 that just needs something done to it. It was either sent back to the factory or done by someone else, the case colors are cyanide or something similar and it just isn’t right.
And Walt has nothing in his records on it, so I’ve been talking about upgrading it to a grade 6 or something similar.
