Good eye Dean, I was wondering about the screw head reflections as well. It was what appeared to be an upward more narrow cut of the frame lobe that had me thinking Fox. The shooter may have moved slightly during the photo exposure process, thus giving the frame a slightly different look? Best, Chris _________________________________ . |

Drew & Randy, I'm still digging. Two of the shooters had Heikes hand protectors (pat1889) on their guns, and the photographers studio mount helps in dating the old photo. Current direction of my search is looking for a 5-Man Team defending a Kansas state trophy, and "Who" might have been 5 of the better or best Kansas shooters of the day to represent their state 1895-96. I'll certainly post it here when I find it.... Thanks again for the help fellas
