Hello, I am a new PGCA member and fairly new to the website as well. Although I have been a collector of fine doubles and own a few Parkers, I have recently refined my interests and want to learn more.

I can already appreciate the valuable resource all of you have provided with this website and look forward to conversations about about old guns, fine dogs and plentiful flushes.

Welcome aboard Dean. I see that you are from the great State of SD. I noticed in another thread that Pheasant Fest is coming your way next year. That will be a good opportunity for you to get out and see some Parkers and meet some members.

Hello, I am a new PGCA member and fairly new to the website as well. I own a new (old) Parker. I have interest in these fine guns and want to learn more. The serial number is 73536 on my Parker DH with a number 2 frame. I believe to be original. Maybe someone could assist in verifying this information. I believe it to be built in 1897.
