Hi guys. Thanks for the information.


I have attached some pictures for you to review.

Upon really close inspection. It looks like the slot was filled in where the safety was supposed to be. I'm not sure of the chokes.

It is a 12 gauge with a serial number 149889.

I bought it because my grandfather had a 1906 with very similar engraving and I just loved it.

Does this shed any light on it?

Adam your gun is a Grade 2 or GH, the "H" being hammerless. It is in the book and there are surviving records for it so I would strongly urge you to join the PGCA and order a research letter. The book shows it as a 30" extractor gun. As far as the safety or lack of goes it looks absolutely correct to me.
