Patrick - I'm trying to figure out what's going on where the stock head meets the frame... Is the wood beveled or chamferred down to meet the contoured frame?

Yes, it was beveled like that on both sides. I did not buy the gun as we could not determine an agreeable value. It was a neat little gun. Here are pics of both sides.
