Good for you Russ!!

I spent 10 days chasing them in Vermont and on Friday morning a nice buck like yours stood up from his bed in a blackberry flat looking straight at me about 45 yards from me. I quickly shouldered the Ruger to put the crosshairs on the white patch on his throat but I couldn't see him at all through the scope.

Apparantly while I was sneaking through the hemlocks bordering the blackberry flat some snow had fallen into the front of my scope....

There's always next year
