Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

As Dudley suggests, the "wing" may have been an add on, but the rest of it looks pretty original. $3400 isn't out of line for someone interested in an historic serial number. Too bad someone decided to remove the probably original Silver pad and screw on a replacement. I may have paid the price if the serial number had been the earlier one mentioned and I didn't have to bring it in from Canada.

Actually, 176,127 and 176,129 are listed in the serialization book as earlier examples of the single traps. I don't know how Mr. Peck found that 176,129 was the earliest in the order books unless he has access to the PGCA record files. Maybe Mr. Peck got our historian/researcher, Chuck Bishop to search the records for him. We know that there are earlier entries than 176,129, and maybe earlier than 176,127. In the serialization book, there are hundreds of missing entries prior to the mentioned serial numbers. The serialization book is compiled of stock book entries. Order book entries are a different animal and may include many more earlier single traps than 176,127. Investigation continues.
